BIO

Leslie Gallagher’s performing career started with her first Tap Dance recital at age 5, and continued while earning a BA in Dance (Music Performance minor) from U of Idaho, and an MS in Dance from U of Oregon. Health issues interfered with her Dance career, but this led to the discovery of the perfect combination of her love of reading and her passion for performance: Audiobook Narration. She started volunteering with Learning Ally while taking coaching from Johnny Heller, Ann Richardson, and Joel Leslie Froomkin, and is now a proud member of the Professional Audiobook Narrators Association (PANA).

When not in her booth, Leslie and her two cats, Jinx and Rune, enjoy gluten-free baking, cross-stitching, and knitting (she also designs knitting patterns!). Leslie wishes that every day could be Halloween.

Fantasy, Science Fiction, YA, Psychological Thrillers, Humor, and Romance (under her pseudonym, Lavender Skye) are her strengths, but Leslie also gravitates toward Non-Fiction- especially History, Music, and the Fine Arts.
